Biggest Payout Fantasy Football
FANTASY BASEBALL INTRODUCTION: Biggest payout fantasy football keeper leagues are head to head. This particular FSRU league is primarily aimed at experienced players of fantasy football. If you are a new hobbyist, while you are welcome to join this league, it is recommended you consider any of our other leagues before this one. This game will have one league drafting in 2008.
In August, our new league information is listed right on the FSRU.com Homepage. In other months, you can see future fantasy football drafts on the FSRU Draft Dates page.
FANTASY FOOTBALL DRAFT: Biggest Payout fantasy football mixed keeper leagues have 12 teams. New league drafts are held in your leagues personal website using top of the industry draft software. You only click the player, click the position you are putting him at and he goes off the roster board and on your team. As soon as you enter the league your draft position will be displayed on the rules page.
In established keeper leagues, beginning in year two, you will protect 5 players and team owners will have a 13 round nonserpentine draft (i.e. 12-1, 12-1, 12-1, etc.) in the FSRU.com chat room.
PlAYER CONTRACTS: This league uses 3 year player contracts. In year 1, the player is in contract year "A" In year 2, the player is in contract year "B" in year 3, the player is in contract year "C" Following his 3rd contract year, the player immediately becomes a free agent available at the next supplemental draft. If a player is traded in the middle of his contract, the contractual year will follow him to the next team. In essence, trades between teams do not change a players contractual status- only free agency does.
Undrafted Players chosen via free agency, begin contract in year A. Note: If a player was a kept the previous year, and he is released mid season, his contractual status stays with him even if he is chosen via free agency. i.e. If Peyton Manning is released by a lower standing team in his C contract year, he will still be available in the supplemental draft the following year even if he is picked up by another team.
KEEPER LEAGUE OFFSEASON: Once the Fantasy Football Season ends, if your team is paid for the following season, you can trade with other teams paid for the next season throughout the off-season. So our team owners can trade all year long.
FANTASY FOOTBALL TEAMS: Each of the 12 teams will each have 18 players. They will activate 9 per week: 1- Quarterback (QB) 1- Running Back (RB) 2- Running Back or Wide Receiver (RB or WR) 1- Wide Receiver (WR) 1- Tight End (TE) 1- Kicker (K) 1- Team Defense/Special Teams (TDSP) 1- Utility (QB, RB, WR, TE, K), any position except TDSP.
FSRU.com HAS REAL KEEPER LEAGUES!!! All Fantasy Sports "R" Us Team owners protect 5 players and a 13 round draft is held yearly. Many of our competitors that advertise keeper leagues actually run what’s known as Dynasty Leagues. All teams start the year with the same roster they ended the previous year with. Dynasty is a fitting name since the same teams tend to win those leagues year after year. While more work for the site, Real Keeper Leagues provides a far more competitive, stable and enjoyable experience for our team owners.
KEEPER LEAGUE REDRAFT: Beginning in 2008, every 5th year a keeper league will completely redraft. Redrafts will be serpentine (1-12, 12-1, 1-12, etc). There will be no keepers in a redraft year as all players are available.
Previous years standings will dictate draft order in redraft years. Previous 5 years league champions will receive priority positioning from oldest to youngest. Remaining positions will be issued last team to first team as of 5th years final standings. An example draft order in a 2008 Redraft would be: 1. 2003 Champion 2. 2004 Champion 3. 2005 Champion 4. 2006 Champion 5. 2007 Champion Positions 6-12 are issued last to first except for the top 5 listed above utilizing the last years final standings. Teams leaving leagues in redraft year are barred from attaining a higher draft position by entering a new league.
You may consider purchasing a Team for Sale. Each established leagues redraft year is available on the League Winners page. We believe drafting a team from scratch is an integral part of the fantasy baseball experience. There is a $50 cancellation fee for orphaning a team. In a league redraft year, this fee is waived.
FANTASY FOOTBALL SCORING: Our Football is head-to-head, the way Fantasy Football should be. You get points for passing, rushing, receiving, kicking and defense. Our Fantasy Football Scoring System provides the most sensational head to head game anywhere. Your team PLAYS against another team to get a Win or a Loss each week. The last three weeks of the NFL regular season make up the FSRU Fantasy Football Playoffs. Your teams position in the standings will be based on team won/loss record.
Tiebreaker: In determining who makes the playoffs: First tiebreaker is most points scored, next tiebreaker is most points scored against.
FANTASY FOOTBALL FREE AGENTS: The weekly order of free agent pickups will be last place team to 1st place team as of Thursday morning. Free agent requests must be made by Thursday, 10pm EST. Each team will be given unlimited free agent pickups per week.
TO PICK UP FREE AGENTS: You choose free agents from your personal team page. Click on FREE AGENT BIDDING. Click on ADD OR CLAIM PLAYER TO RESERVES, choose your player drop and your first free agent, click SUBMIT CLAIM. Do the same thing over for your second choice, third, etc. Note that you must choose multiple players to drop if you wish multiple players issued.
FANTASY FOOTBALL ROSTERS: Each week you will be able to activate players from your reserve squad and reserve players that are active. Reserving an injured player or activating a new free agent you just picked up could make a big difference on your team. You then use the MAKE TRANSACTIONS feature to set your starting lineup, which must be done prior to Monday, 1pm EST.
Please note that each team is obligated to play their best lineup and the "strategy" of playing for a lower draft position in keeper leagues is considered an illegal lineup.

Your league standings are updated daily along with injury reports, what free agents are available in your league, updated rosters and transactions.
