HEAD TO HEAD FANTASY BASEBALL INTRODUCTION: If this is the first time you are getting involved in a Live Fantasy Baseball Draft get ready for something you will never forget. An opportunity to meet many new friends and do something you will enjoy year after year.

HEAD TO HEAD FANTASY BASEBALL SNAKE DRAFT:
New league drafts are held in your leagues personal website using top of the industry draft software. You only click the player, click the position you are putting him at and hes off the roster board and on your team. New leagues have serpentine drafts (i.e. 1-14, 14-1, 1-14, etc).

In established keeper leagues, beginning in year two, you will protect 14 players and a team owners will have a 13 round nonserpentine supplemental draft (i.e. 12-1, 12-1, 12-1, etc). Draft position is the opposite of last years regular season standings. So if you won first place in the regular season, you would have the last draft position each round. Supplemental drafts are held in the  FSRU.com chat room.

Each player will have 75 seconds to make a draft pick and a draft robot will be in use.
The draft robot will automatically make a pick for an owner who does not submit a pick before the time limit expires. The draft robot picks the top player listed in the owners draft queue- or the rank list, if the owner has not put players in the queue.

HEAD TO HEAD FANTASY BASEBALL AUCTION DRAFT:
Beginning in 2008, FSRU.com will be offering Auction Drafts. Each team will begin with $270 to fill their complete 27 player rosters. Bids will be taken in $1 increments. You can keep as many players on your roster as you choose, but each year players must receive a $5 increase in salary. Free agents picked up during the season, issued last team in standings to first team weekly, will receive a starting salary of $7.

FSRU.com HAS REAL KEEPER LEAGUES!!! Fantasy Sports "R" Us Team owners protect 14 players and a 13 round draft is held yearly. Many of our competitors that advertise keeper leagues actually run what’s known as Dynasty Leagues. All teams start the year with the same roster they ended the previous year with. Dynasty is a fitting name since the same teams tend to win those leagues year after year. While more work for the site, Real Keeper Leagues provides a far more competitive, stable and enjoyable experience for our team owners.

KEEPER LEAGUE REDRAFT: Beginning in 2008, every 5th year a keeper league will completely redraft. Redrafts will be serpentine (1-14, 14-1, 1-14, etc). There will be no keepers in a redraft year as all players are available.

Previous years standings will dictate draft order in redraft years. Previous 5 years league champions will receive priority positioning from oldest to youngest. Remaining positions will be issued last team to first team as of 5th years final standings. An example draft order in a 2008 Redraft would be:
1. 2003 Champion
2. 2004 Champion
3. 2005 Champion
4. 2006 Champion
5. 2007 Champion
Remaining positions are issued last to first except for the top 5 listed above utilizing the last years standings.

If you are considering purchasing a
Team for Sale, each established leagues redraft year is available on the League Winners page. We believe drafting a team from scratch is an integral part of the fantasy baseball experience.

HEAD TO HEAD KEEPER LEAGUE OFFSEASON: Once the Major League Baseball season ends and your team is paid for the following season, you can trade with other teams paid for the next season throughout the off-season. So our team owners can trade all year long. Supplemental round draft picks cannot be traded.
