Fantasy Hockey One Year League Rules

FANTASY HOCKEY INTRODUCTION: Are you ready to be the General Manager, Coach, and Owner of your own NHL team? As the GM you will draft your team; as the coach you'll decide who to start, and who rides the bench; and as the owner your success will result in the Super Prize Cash Payout that separates Fantasy Sports "R" Us from every other Fantasy Sports Game. From the statistics package, the price and the payout, every aspect of the Game was prepared to provide the team owner with the ultimate enjoyment! 

FANTASY HOCKEY DRAFT: All Fantasy Sports "R" Us drafts are held utilizing CBSsportsline.com draft software. The draft order reverses each round (1-12, 12-1) and you will have 75 seconds for each pick.

FANTASY HOCKEY TEAMS: Each league will be made up of 12 teams and each team will be made up of 20 players. Each week you will activate 14 players: Eight (8) Forwards (Centers or Wingers), Four (4) Defenseman, and Two (2) Goalies. The remaining Six (6) players will be your Reserve Squad and can be drafted for any position. While completing the draft you can choose the active and reserve squads in any order you deem necessary.

HOW TO WIN at FANTASY HOCKEY:
There are 10 equally weighted categories that get you points:
1.   Goals Scored
2.   Assists 
3.   Plus +/- Minus  
4.   Penalty Minutes (Least penalty minutes are high score)
5.   Points/Game
6.   Shooting Percentage
7.   Power Play Points
8.   Goalie Wins
9.   Goals Against Average
10. Goalie Save Percentage.  

Points are awarded in each of the 10 categories based on your standings compared to the other league teams, for example, from 1 to 14. Your points are then added together to give you Total Points, which provides you a ranking versus the other league teams.

FANTASY HOCKEY TRADES: Trades are made utilizing the sites automated draft software. Trades will not be made retroactive and if you make an unbalanced trade and acquire an extra player, you must release an extra player. 

FANTASY HOCKEY FREE AGENTS: The weekly order of free agent pickups will be last place team to 1st place team as of Friday. Free agents will be issued each Friday at 1pm EST. Each team will be given unlimited free agent pickup per week but you must drop a player to pick up a player.

FANTASY HOCKEY ROSTERS: Each week you will be able to activate players from your reserve squad and reserve players that are active. Reserving an injured player or activating a new free agent you just picked up could make a big difference on your team. Activating and deactivating players is done utilizing the sites automated  software and must be done prior to Sunday, Midnight for the new week beginning on Monday.

Please note that each team is obligated to play their best lineup and the "strategy" of playing for a lower draft position in keeper leagues is considered an illegal lineup.

FANTASY HOCKEY LEAGUE FEES: Cost of a Live Fantasy Hockey Team is only $150. There are no transaction or other types of fees at Fantasy Sports "R" Us.

Hockey League Champion - $500 + an engraved 1st Place Plaque ($75 value)
2nd Place Team- $150 + an engraved 2nd Place Plaque
3rd Place Team-$150 credit in any fsru.com league 
4th Place Team- $50 credit in any fsru.com league

COMMISSIONER: The commissioner reserves the right to veto any trade deemed too lopsided or detrimental to the integrity of the league. No collusion of any type will tolerated and management reserves the right to disqualify. League fees will not be returned consequently.
